Who we are
Caring & commitment in action
The ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Saddleback Valley is a non-profit volunteer organization that puts caring and commitment into action by providing services to children, families, and the elderly in the
Saddleback Valley communities.
We are committed to improving our local community through hands on involvement and innovative philanthropic programs.
founding chapter was formed in 1919 by Anne Banning and developed as an outgrowth of the Red Cross Shops established in World War I.
It became the first nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization begun in the West to recognize the potential of volunteers in helping those less fortunate to a better, more meaningful life.
National Assistance League
NATIONAL ASSISTANCE LEAGUE, organized in 1935, now has more than 23,000 member volunteers in 120 chapters across the United States. The innovative programs of Assistance League have touched the lives of more than 1.2 million children, seniors, families and others in need.
